Claire Ryan
Claire D.C. has been a Chiropractor for over 15 years and has worked in many high quality clinics in this time. Her father is also a Chiropractor, and so, she has been lucky to know the benefits of spinal care from a young age. Claire has also trained in many advanced techniques nationally and internationally, so that she knows the exact areas to contact on the spine to enhance health and ease in the body. She tailors her care to the needs of each individual using traditional chiropractic techniques as well as cranio-sacral, nutrition and life support. She is trained in paediatrics, dry-needling, kinesiology and network spinal analysis. She is also a yoga teacher and marathon-runner as well as mother of three children. Claire is passionate about caring for people and families of all ages, and sharing this work with the wider community.
Claire knew she wanted to be a Chiropractor from the age of five. Having watched her Dad help many people with their health, she couldn’t imagine doing anything more satisfying and rewarding. Since graduating, with a first class honours, from her intensive five-year training in 2005, she has studied many techniques internationally within the chiropractic umbrella — from paediatrics to help with babies and young children to sacro-occipital technique, as well as learning the structural biomechanics that can affect our wellbeing in a very real way. Claire wanted to understand what was at the root of physical dis-ease. She has come to master Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) as her primary technique, having trained directly with its founder Dr Donny Epstein. This is a powerful, gentle contact approach that invites the body to pay attention to and unwind the tension bound in our tissues. “It is very empowering” says Claire about NSA. “People are taking responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, less and less are they dependent on an external measure to take their ailment away. Their bodies are learning complex, intelligent strategies that sustain a more ‘easeful’ way of being in their day-to-day life. It’s amazing to watch this unfold... for those who wish to have relief from pain or greater experience of life - this works!”
